dc.description.abstractTheoretical and experimental studies have been carried out on deflection and cross-section deformation of tubular composite shafts subjected to point static loading. Out of plane displacement, which is absent for metallic shaft/beams, is observed. Experimental result for (±45°)2 shaft compares qualitatively with that obtained theoretically.en
