dc.description.abstractIntersymbol interference upper error bounds are calculated for the Gaussian-weighted sinc and raised-cosine families by using the Chernoff bound since this technique yields a value smaller than the worst case bound. A comparison between the two families is based on error rates and bandwidth.en
