description.abstractA two-stage identification method based on modeling error compensation for systems operating in closed loop is presented. The feedback regulator is assumed linear, time-invariant. The model structure and the identification technique described do not suggest any changes in the feedback regulator or in the plant input. Results of identification based on a simulated process are included.en
