dc.description.abstractThis correspondence proposes an alternative scheme for characterizing the wide sense cyclostationary (WSCS) processes and applies it for the analysis of the filter banks whose output is WSCS for wide sense stationary and WSCS inputs. The proposed representation clearly illustrates the kind of transformation taking place in multiscale stochastic systems. These relationships are extended to the filter bank to make clear the effect of the various stages of the filter bank on WSCS processesen
