dc.description.abstractThe short-range force model has been applied to study the zone-center phonon frequencies of oxidespinel ZnCr2O4. A comparative study of interatomic forces is also made between oxide spinel ZnCr2O4 and chromium sulfide/selenide spinels. Our short-range model provides fair agreement with the available experimental results.en
