dc.description.abstractWe present a microscopic many-body multichannel theory of interference effects between Raman scattering from phonon (discrete) and gap (continuum) pair electronic excitations in a superconductor with dy2−y2 pairing symmetry. The theoretical results so obtained give a quantitative description of our low temperature Raman scattering experiments on laser ablated nearly twin-free superconducting thin films of YBa2Cu3O7.en
