dc.description.abstractThe phonons in defect chalcopyrite CdGa2S4 are investigated without and with deLauney-type angular forces. It has been observed that angular forces play a very important role in determining the phonons in defect chalcopyrite structure. The agreement between theory and experiment is good when the angular force contribution is incorporated. The physical significance of the importance of angular force is discussed.en
