Abstract: A new bias method based on the concept of bias coding is proposed for cellular neural networks. A spatial coding scheme using this bias coding is then designed for arranging coded data onto transparencies to perform multi-correlations simultaneously. Finally, a new optoelectronic architecture which uses the proposed bias method and spatial coding scheme is reported.
