| Abstract: | In this communication, an analysis of a triple basin inverted absorber solar still has been made.Expressions for the water and condensing cover temperatures of each of the basins have been derived. The hourly variation of yield from each of the basins has been calculated. It has been observed that an inverted absorber triple basin solar still gives a substantially higher yield than a double basin and a single basin inverted absorber solar still. The yield from the inverted absorber triple effect solar still has also been compared with that from a conventional triple effect solar still. |
